I would say that if you are looking for a product that really does seem to make your hair thicker I would recommend the Nanogen range. I was initially worried they wouldn’t work with my permed hair (yes I have a perm, no I don’t look like Whitney circa 1987) but they assured me that it wouldn’t affect the style, so I tried them in earnest. I’ve only used this product three times but I’ve noticed a difference on how smooth and manageable my very fine hair after I wash it with this shampoo. I did read other reviews elsewhere after purchase and many of those reviews are not complimetary about this shampoo. Not only that, but salicylic acid actively exfoliates the scalp to help prevent itchiness and flakes, as well as breaking down sebum and dirt which can clog the pores. I noticed my hair was getting a little thinner on top couple of years ago, not drastic but i dont want to start loooking to others that Im balding when ive still a couple of years to hit 40. When I was pregnant, my hair was really thick, but as many mums have experienced, the extra hair literally fell out in clumps once all those nice pregnancy hormones disappeared.
