The Mira Event XS Power Manual White-Chrome has a very aesthetically pleasing modern design and looks good. More importantly, it is powerful and effective and provides an excellent shower experience. I was not sure if it would be any better than the old Mira that it replaced, but I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to discover that it is in fact more powerful. I think the fact that Ive just replaced my very well used (and abused) Mira event XS power shower with an identical model sums up my feelings very well. I had the last shower for over twelve years and it was brilliant so last night we replaced it with the same model. We probably could have had the old one repaired but I felt that due to its age and the fact that it had never previously caused us any problems, it would be worth replacing. The shower unit is slimline and very easy to operate and regulate the water temperature. Its build is of a high quality. The nozzle on the shower can be turned to adjust the water flow which I find especially usefull for hair washing etc. as the jet wash is really powerful!Whenever Ive had visitors, theyve always commented on the shower and, incidentally, never on my cooking!!! I think that just about sums up everything I have to say. My advise is that if this model of shower is suitable for your plumbing system you really cant go wrong. Easy to keep fresh and hygienic with rub-clean and anti-scale shower head nozzle. Only requires minimal cleaning to keep clean. This is our second Mira Event XS thermostatic power shower. The first one lasted 10 years without any problems, other than replacing the shower head – we live in an area with a lot of limescale. Decide on a suitable location for the Mira Event XS, avoiding buried cables and pipes. Leave a minimum distance of 200mm from the ceiling to allow for the fitting and removal of the cover. Ensure that when the hose retaining ring is placed on the lowest position on the slide bar, there is a minimum distance of 25mm between the handset and the bath or shower tray spillover when the handset is hanging down.

When my old faithful New Team power shower after 15 years finally died,I realized I would have to get a replacement. We installed a Myra Shower ten years ago and were very pleased with it, especially as it was used more than four times daily, and it stood the test of time and durability. When its life came to an end we had no doubt about installing another. We bought the same again and had no problems installing it into the previous fixings. It was used straight away and so far so good.Its worth noting that although all the connections are in the same place as older versions of this shower, the casing is larger and curved. For me, this was a problem as the pipes curved into the old shower and clashed with the new casing. Short job to adjust by my friendly neighbourhood plumber though. My old Mira Event failed after long and reliable service. The new Event XS is a great replacement - even better than the previous. Screw holes are in a slightly different place, but easily overcome. The pipework fixings and position are identical so makes plumbing in very easy. Overall, a great performing shower with easy to operate controls, good looks and easy installation. Overall, I am very pleased with my new shower and at my brilliant DIY skills in fitting it! Also, I should mention that Plumbworld’s price was the cheapest I could find on the Internet, which was a huge plus.

Hello, do you mean the flow has stopped or that the pump has stopped but water is still flowing slowly, if the flow has totally stopped, you need a new solenoid valve 453.13.If, however, this does not fix it, I am probably looking at a new inlet manifold. If I was to buy both from you and not use the manifold, could I return it? Using a spirit level, position the Mira Event XS on the wall and mark the three fixing points. Ensure the marked fixing points are not in line with buried cables and pipes before drilling. Insert the end of the push-fit tool under the temperature control knob, in line with the temperature override button, and lever off the temperature knob.

Fit the three rubber feet into the recesses in the case. The feet will reduce the noise transmitted by the power shower through the wall. Hello, it sounds like the potentiometer has failed, you need to replace the harness 453.11 if it is manual and 453.10 if it is thermostatic. I suspect it to be the square o rings between the inlet manifold assembly and the manual thermostat assembly which I see you include in your seal kit. I am looking for the diaphragm washer that is on the end of the solenoids shutoff valve in a mira xs pump electric shower. The flow and temperature controls are separated to give you more flexibility. The flow controls also control the power, turning from the ‘stop’ position to increase the flow of your shower.
