About this deal

We find that the briquettes burn very quickly so we build our fire with a mixture of briquettes and coal. I put one on last night at 00:00 (on the remenants of a log ) and it was still warm at 10am this morning , keeping the morning chill out of the kitchen.

Here at Cheshire Fuels we sell the finest fuels on the market including: Logs, Kiln Dried Logs, , Kiln Dried Hardwood, Coal, House Coal, Irish Peat Briquettes, Pini-Kay Wood Briquettes, Smokeless Coal, Restaurant Grade Catering Coal , Restaurant grade charcoal , Kindling and Firelighters. Anyway, back to peat and plants, one problem I may have is in re-hydrating them, they are surprisingly heavy and the one that I put in some rainwater is still obstinately briquette shaped in the bottom of the bucket ! The beauty of our Irish peat briquettes is that they are a 100% natural product that has not had anything added to it to make it burn brighter or for longer.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. after reading the reviews thought i would give them a try , they burn really well and last longer than wood also get a good heat off them and easy to light , though some say they burn for 2 to 3 hours i put 2 on burner and they lasted 1 hour 30 mins on a low air supply . Yes, you will certainly need a metal bucket, and leave them long enough to completely cool before you dispose of them.

Of course these days there is no need to go digging in a peat bog; we will deliver our high quality Irish peat briquettes straight to your door stacked neatly on a pallet. It takes centuries for a peat bog to regenerate not to mention the carbon dioxide dispatched on its not so merrily way. Peat briquettes will provide a long burn time of up to three hours, but can also be used in a closed appliance to keep a fire ‘in’ overnight or to rekindle a dying flame. The briquettes are highly compressed and rock hard not soft, even if you soak them they dont go back to being like normal peat. Other fuels cost less, but given the new restrictions just announced by the UK government on coal and non- kilndried wood, this is by far the best alternative.

With their long, slow burn and lovely aroma, they’ll give you all the warmth you need in your hearth—no matter what type of fireplace or stove you have. Our peat is all sourced from Ireland and is from an area where there are open marsh lands that produce some of the best peat in the UK. cant get to the prospective supplier till next week but I'll report back later for anyone in the area that needs it, if it turns out ok.

Just don't have a clue where to find some in Dublin (we won't have a car and found an hostel close to Temple Bar). Peat as a fuel has been around for centuries, and now, with advances in knowledge and technology we are harvesting peat from peat bogs and turning them into areas of outstanding natural beauty. Hadley Bord na Móna premium peat briquettes are made from 100% naturally occurring vegetative fibre (bog peat) formed over hundreds of years, dried and pressed and into dense blocks ready for burning. This vehicle is usually able to travel wherever your rubbish collectors do when they make their rounds. Because of the challenging ecological conditions of peat wetlands, they are home to many rare and specialised organisms that are found nowhere else. Not sure about Cornwall ( a bit outside the ken of our local TV ) but Dorset, Devon and South Somerset got a bit of a battering. They are very easy to use and clean, with low sulfur emissions and can be burned alone or combinef with other fuels. We have a heavily extracted (dead) bog nearby and I have seen people digging out sods of peat for burning.

I had a very expensive disaster with peat ashes in a holiday rental on Achill during winter a number of years ago! Perfect for stoves and especially open fires, where the lovely, traditional smell can be fully enjoyed. We have not used them for a while but I used let them cool completely for a couple of days then bag them and bin them. B) if so, and supposing that it is BordNaMona, thus Irish, thus sphagnum peat, will it be good for heheee you know what ! Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).They also burn at an extremely high temperature meaning the heat output is excellent considering their size.
