Now commonplace in many commercial and industrial environments, the typical application for our blankets is as a noise control enclosure around industrial machinery or plant such as blowers, compressors, fans, generators, pumps, and saws. Having the right acoustic blankets will help you adhere to the Government’s regulated decibel time exposure allowance of 85dBA/8hr and provides your employees with a safe and comfortable work environment. Where are Soundproof Blankets Used? With generous sizes our stunning Floral Quilted Bedspreads will also help to keep your outer bedding clean and are ideal when you want to lay on top of your bed for a short nap.

Even with fully double-glazed windows and doors, heat will always find a way to escape our homes, and so proper insulation is a must. Thermal curtains can act as an effective barrier between our cosy living spaces and the outside air getting in. When properly fitted, these heavyweight drapes can reduce heat loss by as much as 25 per cent, which will, in turn, reduce our need to crank up the thermostat. What other benefits of thermal curtains are there? Open the fold and place the 1 x 60 ½ inch interfacing against the fold (on the WRONG side of fabric) and fuse in place. Assembling Your quilted Curtains Lining – 60 ½ x 60 ½ fabric (I used a 90 x 60 1/2 inch piece of muslin that I trimmed down to 60 ½ x 60 ½) Why not use 10 ½ x 10 ½ inch squares and make a 60 x 60 inch curtain? Brilliant! And that’s exactly what I did. For ONE quilted curtain, you will need 36 squares. If you’re making TWO quilted curtains, you’ll need 72 squares. Don’t ya know it. I had way more than 36 Kaffe Fassett fabrics in my stash. But after much debate, I finally settled on these. 😊Place the curtain top strip and the top of the main body right sides together, lining up the raw edges, and stich using ½ inch seam. Press the seam toward the main curtain body. Our flexible, heavy-duty quilted acoustic blankets are custom-made in-house to ensure strict adherence to our quality control guidelines. We supply no off-the-shelf items, and all of our products are made of highest quality materials. Our acoustic blanket products include: Acoustic Sports Blankets– a tried and tested product for use around sports pitches and fix easily to an existing fence. They are available in a wide range of colours, are very durable and prevent noise getting into built up areas around playing fields. They also reduce impact noise when a ball strikes the fence.

Whether you're searching for classical or modern Floral Quilted Bedspreads you'll find we have extensive ranges in a wide variety of colours and designs to suit the style of your home beautifully. From pretty vintage inspired floral patterns to modern floral blooms and stunning patchwork all of our Floral Quilted Bedspreads are a great way to add style to your bedroom. Our bedspreads are also a fabulous way to add an extra layer of warmth to your bed during the Winter months meaning you can turn your heating down a degree or two. A great choice to compliment plain bedding, as matching with floral duvet covers can create a clash of patterns. Quilted Bedspreads With Floral Designs Quilted acoustic curtains are also used to reduce environmental noise such as construction, earth, and road works, refurbishment projects on occupied buildings and offices, along with air conditioning units and sports halls.

I have a TON of Kaffe Fassett fabric. You might say I’m a little obsessed. But all those fabrics came in handy for making these curtains! Lighter coloured curtains are the go-to choice for making a room appear bigger – choosing a slightly lighter shade than your walls will provider consistency and open up the room. Avoid dark colours or bold patterns in smaller rooms as they can be distracting and crowd a room. Another great choice is to opt for metallic colours as light can bounce off these giving the illusion of a bigger space. What to consider when buying curtains? I suggest thin, high-quality cottons with high thread counts for patchwork curtains. Voile, lawn and Art Gallery Fabric quilting cotton are all good options. These fabrics are semi-sheer, which looks like stained glass in the window. Of course, if you’re making two curtains, as soon as you repeat these steps to finish the second curtain, you’re quilted curtains are done! Press all edges around your curtain and top stitch all the way around. I decided to get a little fancy (not really) and do a zig zag stitch across the top to help hold it in place.
