Kimberley’s characters have made such an impact on readers that her books are soon to be made into a television series starring Sheridan Smith as Queenie. It was then I knew that I’d finally found my vocation in life. I mad very little notes, other than some character names. After I finished each chapter, the next came easy.” With the encouragement of friends, Chambers bought a copy of the Writers and Artists Year Book and scrolled through the list of agents. Other than the fact that she has surrendered her two children to her barbarous ex-lover, Jed O’Hara, Frankie also has another child on the way and is being held in Holloway ahead of her trial for attempted murder.

Hi, i am reading tainted blood, Queen Butler, I have read the first one but I have also read the 1st sone and there are gaps to the Butlers and Viv. Is there another book in the middle of the saga if so can you let me know as I am getting confused on what has happened. thank you. Reply

I have really mixed feelings towards 'Queenie' obviously I empathise for her in light of the trauma she has suffered. However, I struggle to understand her love of 'Daniel' . Personally I find her attraction to him rather shallow and more lustful. Moreover, I find it difficult to forgive some of her behaviour, particularly in the way she responds to her own son's behaviour. The story takes us through Queenie’s childhood into adulthood, her marriage, having children and getting to know the younger butlers as children and watching them grow. There is just something about the bond between mother and son and Queenie and Vinny’s is both heartwarming and heart breaking. Caz Finlay lives in Liverpool with her husband, two children, and a grumpy dog named Bert. She has two BA Hons in Criminal Justice and Community Justice.

So when he makes a pact with revered villain Eddie Mitchell, it seems like a win-win situation for the two sides. When she had her sons she encouraged them to be the best they could be and whilst Albie criticises her for spoiling them, they are truly her world.

This fourth novel from Kimberly Chambers introduces readers to the criminal world of two mob families; the Mitchells and the O’Haras. These two families compete against each other for turf and businesses. Caught between the greed and pride of two dangerous families are two children whose lives will never be the same. The Traitor Chambers As the plot progresses to after the war, you understand why people in communities knitted together, to build up a bigger family other than blood relations. So when Frankie Mitchell and Jed O’Hara shared a forbidden love, it marked the beginning of the end. I loved getting to know and understand Queenie better. Having a fairly normal upbringing until the war happened which then turned her and her families lives upside down. More so for her and her mother. Queenie finds a friend and mother figure in their new neighbour Mary, Mrs O’Leary. I loved the bond between them both.
