I think the reason Commando Dad is so widely accepted and loved is because it resonates with dads. The information and topics within the book are:

I like the tone of the book very much. A rather odd thing to say about a book, isn’t it? I think the friendly and understanding tone used by the author really does a good job of making readers feel adequate. Accepted even. Reassure her and let her know you’re in this together. Having a new baby is tiring for everyone, but your wife and trooper have been through labour too. Tempers can get frayed in the beginning when you’re both adjusting to a completely new lifestyle on limited sleep. Keep calm.

It was always my intention to get this book into the hands of every new dad and dad to be. The fact that Prince William is using the book – and enjoying it – makes me very, very proud. I am also hopeful that it will help get the message out there to even more dads that there is a no nonsense,straighforward guide to all the practical skills you’ll need to be a great dad.
