The Bell is a friendly 200-year-old coaching inn located north of the Cotswolds and 15 miles (24 km) from Stratford-upon-Avon. I need to speak before I booked it to check that accessibility and things like that okay but I’ve got nowhere so I would say to anyone if you’re a normal person then it sounds fantastic night myself recently developed issues than the fact that they can’t even answer the telephone in three different departments after trying so many times it’s a real shame. The Globe Inn Marsh, as its pleasingly Dickensian exterior has it emblazoned, is tucked away down a windy lane outside Rye, where the houses give way to nature.

The curtains are good quality, but not fitted well where it seemed that some of the hooks are no longer attached to the curtain rail. The added bonus was the staff (all of them) who provided first class friendly service and made us feel most at home. The establishment also offers outdoor seating in their beer garden, perfect for enjoying a pint on a sunny day. Its a shame that this restaurant, in a good position, is so lacking when it would not take much effort or money to update it.
