Description

The Character of the Bearers and People of the Qur'an discusses the required manners and character of those who preserve, recite and believe in the Qur'an, thus including all Muslims in general. The book is divided into ten chapters. Most of the material is of two types: quotations and admonitions. Abu Jahl replied: "So that they can give it to you, as they see that you went to Muhammad to get some of his food." And Allah would never make your faith (prayers) to be lost.) meaning, the reward of your prayers towards Bayt Al-Maqdis before would not be lost with Allah. It is reported in Sahih that Abu Ishaq As-Sabi`y related that Bara' narrated: "The people asked about the matter of those who offered prayers towards Bayt Al-Maqdis and died (before the Qiblah was changed to Ka`bah). Allah revealed: When the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque is mentioned, it also denotes the city of al-Quds or Bayt al-Maqdis, in particular, and Palestine, in general. Any references to any of these three rubrics necessarily include the other two rubrics, as there is a concomitance of faith, worship, and history among them. There is absolutely no room for separating these names. In the Qur’an, Allah (SWT) says: “Limitless in His glory is He who transported His servant by night from al-Haram Mosque [the Inviolable House of Worship at Makkah] to the Remote House of Worship [al-Aqsa Mosque at Bayt al-Maqdis] –the environs of which We had blessed– so that We might show him some of Our symbols: for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing.” 1 Qur’an, 17:1. This verse implies a short reference to the Prophet’s mystic experience of the “Night Journey (al-Isra)” to Bayt al-Maqdis and the subsequent “Ascension (al-Mi‘raj)” to heaven. Fifthly, the residents of the city of al-Quds are eligible for the reward of frontier guardians in the cause of Allah, as they are in a continuous worship according to the prophetic tradition:

turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction.) meaning, its direction. The Jews did not like this change and said, "What made them change the Qiblah that they used to face (meaning Jerusalem)" Allah revealed: This chapter Yoosuf relates to the story of one of the noble prophets, peace be upon him, and includes great admonitions and numerous benefits for the believers, as well as Islaamic rulings which the scholars of Islaam have extracted from this wonderful story that Allaah revealed to His Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam. The story of Prophet Yoosuf, peace be upon him, has a distinct, beautiful style, and neither the Jews nor the Christians have anything like it in their books, especially in such detail. The Qur'an reigns supreme in Muslim hearts as the most sacred of texts: a profusion of exalted ideas to rouse the mind, noble histories to stir the soul, universal truths to awaken the conscience and precise injunctions directing humanity to its own deliverance, all distilled into the melodious essence that is the Word of Allah. Through fourteen centuries Muslims have persevered in championing the text against corruption, memorising its every word and contemplating its every phrase, so that in our own times untold millions have enthusiastially committed each letter to heart.

The Virtues of Muhammad's Nation

And We send down of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe, and it increases the wrongdoers in nothing but loss.) (17:82) Every word in this beautiful Quran was translated so that readers can understand every single word or phrase. This was also recorded by Al-Bukhari, At-Tirmidhi, and An-Nasa'i. The Wisdom behind changing the Qiblah I heard the Messeger of Allah recite 'at-Tur' in the Maghrib prayer, and when he got to the verses { "Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? No, but they have no firm Belief. Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like?"} [ at-Tur; 35-37], my heart wanted to fly from my body out of awe."

This is a beautiful word by word translation with color-coded Tajweed. I bought several as gifts before looking more closely. I have found that the translations of many words are not correct - so I'm not sure that I would recommend or buy more as gifts. Al-Qaaidah Al Quraaniyyah is a good book to learn Quran Tajweed easily with lessons, extensive notes and exercises for the english speaking students The 30th and last section of the Qur’an is probably the most widely read and memorized of all the parts of the Qur’an, containing as it does, many short chapters which are easy to commit to memory. This Quran is so beautiful and it has helped me a lot with reading, the translation is so beneficial and I would 100% recommend this beautiful QuranAll Praise and Glory belongs to Allah and Endless Darood & Salaam Upon our beloved Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasalam). Ikrimah bin Abi Jahl used to press the Mushaf to his face and cry, saying: "The Book of my Lord! The Words of my Lord!"" Well laid-out, easy and extremely beneficial, this mushaf is a must have for everyone or every home. I am so so grateful that I was told about this book. After buying it, I was able to read Quran and actually understand it. I no longer felt that I was reading letters without my heart being engaged to our Creator's verses. I recommend this to everyone who can read Arabic but struggles with understanding the actual words. May Allah SWT bless all who put effort into making and sharing this book. Related by Ahmad ibn Hanbal and al-Tabarani in al-Awsaṭ as a sound hadith and its narrators are all trustworthy. It is narrated on behalf of the Prophet’s companion Abu Umama al-Bahili, may Allah be pleased with him.

Fourthly, our honorable Messenger (PBUH) linked al-Aqsa Mosque to the rituals of pilgrimage to Makkah (i.e., hajj and umra): “Whoever commences pilgrimage from al-Aqsa Mosque, all his past sins will be forgiven.” 8 Related by Abu Dawud in his Sunan on behalf of Um Salama, the mother of the believers (the Prophet’s spouse), may Allah be pleased with her. This tradition is also related by Ibn Maja in his Sunan with different wording (version). For those of you who wish to embark on the praiseworthy path of memorising Qur’aan, the path which all the scholars and students of knowledge had first taken, this project will insha’Allaah aim to fully translate a very useful (albeit small) book titled ‘Asbaab al-Mu’eena ‘alaa Hifdh al-Qur’aan’ written to ease the memorisation of Qur’aan, containing practical tips as well as verses and ahadeeth speaking of the virtues of hifdh and the huffaadh.” Al-Quran Al-Kareem Maqdis is a ' word-by-word' translation learning method, where every word and sentence is coloured differently, in Arabic and English. Every word has been translated literally so that the reader can understand their individual meaning. However, not all literal translation represents the exact meaning of the word since the Qur'an uses varied Arabic language style and sometimes metaphor. Finally, light green is utilized for "Idghaam Meem Saakan," or the complete assimilation of the noon sakinah.

It is a guide for learning to read the Arabic of the Qur'an in a simple way through transliteration without a teacher. After mastering this guide , one will be able to read Qur'an without any difficulty. Foreword from book, ' This is an English version of the book entitled Fada il-e-Qur'an originally written in Arabic by the Imam Muhammad bin 'Abdul Wahab, an eminent Muslim Scholar, and translated into Urdu by Maulana Mahmud Ahmad Ghazanfar, Mab'uth, Dar al-Ifta, Government of Saudi Arabia. Strictly speaking it is not a literal rendering of the original; rather it is the presentation of the meaning of the original in easy English language; in presenting the meaning, however, an attempt has been made to be very close to the original. Palestine has also a historical significance for Arabs. Throughout the history, there have been continuous Arab migrations from the Arabian Peninsula to the Levant. The absence of a natural barrier, such as mountains, seas or rivers, separating Arabia from the Levant, in general, and the land of Palestine, in particular, facilitated these migrations. It is well known that migrations from the Arabian Peninsula to the Levant were greater than those in the reverse direction, because Arabs were in dire need of water and pasture, which were more abundant in the Levant than in the Arabian Peninsula. 11 Mujir al-Din al-Hanbali, al-Uns al-Jalil fi Tarikh al-Quds wal-Khalil, Vol. 1, p. 8; ‘Arif al-‘Arif, al-Mufassal fi Tarikh al-Quds, pp. 1-4; ‘Arif al-‘Arif, Qubba al-Sakhra al-Musharrafa wal-Masjid al-Aqsa al-Mubarak, p. 18; Muhammad Hussain ‘Ali, ‘Abd al-Rahim Mir’ib, Tarikh al-‘Arab wal-Muslimin, pp. 7-8; Hamad Yusuf, Bayt al-Maqdis min al-‘Ahd al-Rashidi wa Hatta Nihaya al-Dawla al-Ayyubiyya; Ikrime Sabri, Dalil al-Masjid al-Aqsa al-Mubarak, pp. 7-8. 12 Qur’an, 5:21. Accordingly, to understand the full or intended meaning of the word or the verse, Muhsin Khan's the Holy Quran Translation had been included in this edition. However, to comprehend more of the meaning of the Quran, reading the commentary of the Quran from trusted scholars would be necessary.
