Impel size 4 training balls are a staple with our under 12s team. They are robust in all weather and if cleaned and kept to the correct pressure last well and are good value. We also use Mitre match balls which we find suit our needs.

The PU outer is resilient and has a textured surface to enhance ball control, while the laminated power bladder inside the ball is designed to keep your shots straight and true as they fly towards the top corner, or indeed out for a throw-in, depending on how precise your shots tend to be. The 14 panels on the outer surface are bonded using Mitre’s Hyperseam tech, which is designed to minimise water uptake and maximise air retention, so you’re not constantly having to pump up the ball.At Enfield Rangers YFC we use this football for our training sessions and wold recommend this ball. Synthetic leather is used to make the very best footballs, which offer the best feel and control for players. Polyurethane (PU) is a durable material that’s used for premium match balls and also to make most training balls, though some cheaper ones use PVC. Have bought both the size 4 and size 5 now as our teams moved up to new age groups - good quality as would be expected from a trusted brand. we found these balls really good value for money. Perfect weight and nice soft fill. Great for training sessions and very good price. Would and have done recommend this ball , very happy customer I bought these as prizes fro a football competition at teh school fair add the children were so happy to win these excellent quality footballs. Decent value but to many go down and seem to have a valve issue as they don’t hold pressure if left. We train with these footballs 4 days a week every week and only need to replace them as they get lost. They are great quality. We will only but these Mitre balls for our training
