The top row of cards are from the 2021 version of 5 Alive, and the bottom row is from the 1994 version of the game. At this moment though there aren't any 5 Alives for sale but in the future someone may put one up for sale. Since 5 Alive was actually created before Boom-O, I actually see Boom-O as a reimplementation of 5 Alive. All of the players, other than the player who played the card, have to take one card from the draw pile. Since on most turns you are able to play a card, this means that a player who plays a draw card has a pretty big advantage over the other players.
The 21 card could have been useful to take an “A-L-I-V-E” card away from another player but as I mentioned earlier there are too many “wild” cards and 0’s that it is very hard not to have a card to play when the total reaches 21. While many children may enjoy products at different stages of their development, this rating is our suggestion for an age range which will best enjoy the product.
