The very short nozzle also means that they won’t go deep inside your ears and will therefore require larger eartips. The Final E3000 have a machined stainless steel silver finish, and are a bullet-shaped IEM that are meant to be worn cable down. There is a steep rise and this contrast disturbs a quiet, calm listen, as balance and equilibrium are lost.

The E3000 are an all-round upgrade over the BLONs in fit, accessories, soundstage, details, instrument separation and imaging. As such, there is no sibilance or harshness, and the E3000 are very suitable for long listening sessions. The pair features a powerful combination of a 10mm carbon diaphragm dynamic driver and a 6mm lightweight micro dynamic driver. So now I am on default eq and I think I have either got used to it or it broke In and it's better now.

The treble is quite controlled and the first cymbals are present, but there is no flashy brilliance. LOL so you took the time to read my comments, changed my name from ___ ____ to anon, deleted the last cheeky comment (fair), but didn’t bother acknowledging the other 2 comments despite being legitimate?

The box contains the cable, three sets of silicone tips (SML) that are fairly wide and shallow when compared to something like the KZ star tips or Shure Olives. It’s a review, it’s just his opinion (as he’s stated probably a hundred times now including this very article) and plenty of people agree with him. Imaging is a metric that I usually don’t talk about because a vast majority of IEMs are average to me in this regard, but I will just touch on briefly. They have better transients, clarity, and micro-details, and are a more technical and analytical set than the E3000. There’s a bump in the middle region, though, which helps with clarity and lends the sound air and space. So I don't recommend it for use on the street or on the move, unless you are lucky enough to get a better fit than mine. Rest assured that the following observations and findings will be away from bias/es as much as possible. However, they reached stardom with the BLON BL-03 which have earned a place in our Wall of Excellence as the de-facto budget IEM.

But they still have fit problems, they are heavy and the tuning is based on that successful model, without providing superior improvements. The BLON BL-03 is definitely not perfect, but it is built well enough to appear reasonably durable and resistant to a bit of abuse. I find them painfully fatiguing to listen to, to the point where I pull them out and use the busted old pair of Soundmagic E11 or E10 they were meant to replace. Imaging on the other hand was surprisingly decent and could even portray some “ordinal” directions well. They attempted to create a slogan using words that’s first letters spelled BLON but it comes out as largely non-sensical and somewhat bemusing. He is a seasoned voice in the audio community, with a notable presence on Head-Fi and has previously wrote for Audioreviews. The second half is slightly compensated for and the gain of the bell emancipates the female voices and brings a degree of clarity and cleanliness, but pushes the first half even further away. For my personal taste and given the much improved technicalities, I will pick the BL-05S over the BL-MAX. There is a presence of midbass bleed on the lower mids, making the presentation warm and bodied for male vocals.

Over a short span of time, BLON released a handful of gears that utilizes dynamic drivers exclusively. This is spot on the perfect entry level piece to get to get acquainted to what actually sounds good. In the mid-range, the lower V of the Blon offers a somewhat fuller sound, with a timbre that I prefer as natural, more musical and pleasant. When I first listen to them I though they kinda sound quite low and had to increase the volume which is normal for other iems that I had listen to before. The treble on both of these earphones is quite similar but the V2’s treble sounds more forward and brighter because of it’s less forward midrange. Midbass sound thick and impactful but instances of it bleeding into the other frequencies are very minimal. I don’t think I’ve encountered anyone who will outright state that the BL03 sounds “wrong”, and I think that’s why it’s been such a popular IEM as of late.
