As you might expect, a top tube pack is mounted behind the head tube and secured by two or three velcro straps (or bolts) to the top tube and head tube, helping stabilize it from side-to-side movement. The Pods are constructed of VX-21 and 500d Cordura, with a thin foam layer on the contact areas, while the Black and Steel options are constructed from 500d Cordura entirely. The zip is also easy to operate, even on the fly, though it does need a bit of jostling if you pack it full.
