Abbey is Nepalese, but there's a lot of cultural overlap between her cultural identity, she has an Indian accent, she and her mother both speak Nepalese, her head sculpt was also inspired by Nepalese women. But later her designer, Cristina Faline later confirmed that she's Nepalese. Monster High TV series: Abbey is kind and sweet. She describes herself as very clumsy. Although being very friendly, Abbey has always been very lonely, because her mother kept them hidden from the world, she never had friends, until she met the Boo Crew. Abbey has also shown to be determined to fulfill her dreams and fight for them, as she planned on going to Monster High to convince the monsters there she can control her powers so they would allow her to study there, even though her mother didn't allow her to do it. In the Live-Action film, Abbey appears to be in a relationship with Heath Burns, the two were seen playing together at the school yard and seen side by side in some other scenes.
