Puma names the generation and tier level of their boots similar to that of Nike, using terms instead of numbers like the ones in adidas. It’s not a deal breaker but I’d like the TPU coating to be thinner and to have a little more knitted material on that upper to provide a more luxurious touch on the Puma Future Z. That said, I’m not that big a fan of the plastic coating as I think it does make the boot feel a little too plasticky. The all-black look is great and since this is a more traditional design, it makes sense to have a white sole – though we'd prefer a black one (that's just us). You see, the top of the boot is more elasticated with the front of the boot feeling more like natural leather.

These ones slipped on like a pair of slippers and felt fantastic – though over time when you're running, you can feel a slight pull across the top of your foot from the wear, due to the material.
