It wasn't all that far behind the pricier Ryzen 7 1800X and the much pricier Core i7-6900K, and it was more than 30 seconds faster than the Core i7-7700K. But on the single-core test, the Kaby Lake Core i7-7700K is still king, with an edge of roughly 25 percent over the AMD chip.
