It is perfect for all children whether they are just having a bad day and putting their feelings out there, or if they have deeper and more therapeutic requirements, and have experienced reasons not to trust love is always there. There is a wonderful wealth of detail in the illustrations (we particularly enjoy counting the chickens) that lends itself nicely to teaching children the names of household items and F, at the age of about one, was happily pointing to stars and the moon upon request. We’ve been reading this book every night (renewed it from the library) and asked for it for my son’s birthday! So beautiful for a childrens book, a lovely way to show your child about love and acceptance from a young age.
