The Green Schools Travel Flag is a national award that aims to recognise and celebrate schools that are making an active effort to reduce their car dependency and promote sustainable travel amongst their students and staff. They are also required to self-isolate at home for 10 days, although they can reduce that time if they take an additional negative test on day five. This group are recognised with this award as they have travelled to school using the most sustainable methods of transport this week having walked, cycled, car-pooled and Parked ‘n’ Strided the most.
