The years slunk past and still he did not come. After seven years, the surviving Wolf Lords gathered and elected Bjorn their leader, awarding him the title Great Wolf. Bjorn gathered all his warriors together in the Hall of the Fang, and announced the first Great Hunt. Russ’ people would seek out their master if it took the rest of time to do it. So did the twelve Great Companies take to their ships and sail forth in separate directions across the Sea of Stars. [19] The Astartes of the Wolfspear were not happy with being placed permanently on garrison duty, hoping to remain on the frontlines of battle, as befit true sons of Leman Russ. The new Space Wolves Codex Supplement is a winner. It’s a the new format and it’s just a good update to the format of how GW was doing all the Space Marine codexes. Leave the generic Space Marine stuff in the main codex and have the chapter specific stuff in the supplement – there was PLENTY of rules to go around. M36 — The Plague of Unbelief — The Space Wolves protect Fenris from the forces of the rebellious Cardinal Bucharis. Fenris itself is invaded, but in the end the Wolves successfully defend The Fang after a 3 year siege. [29]
