It's difficult to find weights that aren't too heavy for beginners who are still learning how to use weights.Any labour charges within the warranty period that have not been pre authorised by York Barbell and performed by anyone other than a York Barbell approved service engineer. Engineer call outs are at the discretion of York Barbell and on selected models may not be an option. In the event that our cardio equipment develops a fault outside of warranty our customer service team will do their best to advise you of all the possible causes and solutions. On most occasions they will suggest more than one part as a possible cause of the issue; this is because without an engineer physically assessing your machine it is very difficult to conclusively determine the part that is causing the issue. In the event that our customer service team do recommend a spare part they are doing so based on the information provided and are advising on the most likely parts only, due to the nature of these internal components we are unable to guarantee any parts suggested will fix your machine.

If your old equipment is no longer useful to you or anyone you know, please recycle it whenever possible. If you are unable to give your item a new home, there are lots of local organisations available that will reuse, recycle or repair electrical and electronic equipment for charitable schemes.

WARRANTY

Please review your chosen carrier to ensure you are insured appropriately for the return of the product. There are traditionally two types of weight plates available in the UK: these are commonly referred to as 1 inch discs (standard discs) or 2 inch discs (olympic discs). 1 inch plates or Standard weight plates (where the hole in the middle of the disc is approximately 24.7mm in diameter) and 2 inch Olympic weight plates, (hole is approximately 50mm diameter) The 1 inch and 2 inch sizes relates to the diameter of the whole in the centre of the disc.
